2. Executive Function Demands
Exercise requires planning, organizing, and follow-through. These executive functions are often impaired in neurodivergent people.

Make it fun: Make movement fun. Listen to music, podcasts, or audiobooks while moving. Watch shows while on a treadmill. Play games while exercising.
Accept that preferences change: Your preferences will change. What you enjoy today, you might not enjoy tomorrow. That's okay. Keep exploring.

2. Focus on regulation, not exercise. Movement for regulation, not for fitness. Move to feel better, not to burn calories.
3. Accept imperfection. Your movement doesn't have to be perfect. Any movement is good movement.
4. Be kind to yourself. Exercise struggles are common for neurodivergent people. You're not failing.
Movement Doesn't Have to Be Traditional
